Features​

  • WhatsApp templates from Meta's library: on a WhatsApp Cloud API channel, a Utility template can start from Meta's template library. Search the library, choose a template whose text Meta wrote and approves without review, and add your own link or phone number to its buttons. Utility and Authentication templates also take a message time-to-live, as Marketing templates already did. See Templates from Meta's library.
  • Checkout.com for payment links: customers pay on Checkout.com's hosted payment page, and MonoChat marks the order paid only after Checkout.com confirms the payment. See Payment Systems.
  • MCP Server: a read-and-write connection can now work on conversations: send a message, add an internal note, assign, close and mark as read, with the permissions of the user who connected it. See Tools that change data.
  • Custom functions: sdk.utils.getSignedFileUrl now also works on the server, as it already did in views. See Utils.

Enhancements​

  • Instagram and Messenger: the photos and videos of comments, story replies, feed posts and ads are kept in MonoChat's own storage instead of Meta's links, which expire, so they stay visible in your conversations.
  • Instagram and Messenger: connecting a channel is more secure, because the Facebook login is completed between MonoChat's servers and Meta. The login is valid for 30 minutes; after that, MonoChat asks you to connect again. See Channels.
  • Flows: a bulk operation no longer slows down the customers writing to your workspace at the same time; their conversations go first.

Bug Fixes​

  • WhatsApp templates: a document in a template's header keeps its file name, so the customer no longer sees "Untitled".
  • WhatsApp templates: a channel runs one template sync at a time. When WhatsApp limits template requests, MonoChat retries and then tells you, instead of leaving the list half updated.
  • AI: an AI step on a Claude (Anthropic) model no longer fails when the conversation ends with messages the flow sent, such as a welcome message.
  • iyzico: an installment payment credits the total the customer paid, interest included.
